Configuring & Reviewing Debriefs

Updated 22 Sep 20261 min read

Post-Event Debrief is configurable — you decide what your staff are asked, and every submission rolls up to the event's detail page for you to review.

Configuring fields

From Settings → Debrief, each built-in field has its own Visible and Required toggles:

  • Booth used — Required is locked on; it's always asked once it's visible.
  • Event issues — visible and required are both yours to set.
  • Gear issues — same, kept as a separate field from event issues on purpose.
  • Guest of honor, Parking receipt, and Additional notes — always optional; you can only toggle whether staff see them at all.

You can also add your own custom fields — text, number, yes/no, or a select list of options you define — each with its own Visible/Required setting, drag-reorderable into whatever sequence makes sense for your operation.

Reviewing submissions

On an event's detail page, the Debrief section lists every staff submission as an expandable card, with unread ones flagged until you open them. Cards with reported event or gear issues carry a chip so you can spot the ones needing a closer look without opening every card.

For sessions with more than one submission, Generate Summary produces an AI-written synthesis of everyone's debriefs — a quick read of what a whole session's worth of staff reported, rather than piecing it together card by card. Copy puts it on your clipboard if you want to paste it elsewhere.
