Calendar Import: Outlook

Updated 24 Sep 20261 min read

Bootheo reads an Outlook calendar through its published ICS link.

  1. Open Outlook on the web and sign in.
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon), then Calendar, then Shared calendars.
  3. Under Publish a calendar, choose the calendar that holds your bookings and select Can view all details.
  4. Select Publish.
  5. Copy the ICS link (not the HTML link).

Connect it

  1. In the dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar Import → Add calendar.
  2. Choose Outlook and paste the link.
  3. Choose what to import, select Preview, then Connect.

See Importing events from your calendar for how syncing works.

Good to know

  • Treat the ICS link like a password. Anyone with it can view that calendar.
  • If Publish a calendar isn't there, your Microsoft 365 administrator has turned publishing off. Ask them to allow it.
  • Choose Can view all details so event titles, locations, and descriptions come through. With "Can view when I'm busy," Bootheo would only see blocked-off time.
