Themes and Bootheo Intelligence

Updated 22 Jun 20261 min read

A theme is the creative concept for a booth experience — the look, the feel, the prop set. Themes connect your creative vision to the physical kit your crew brings to the event.

Creating a theme

Mobile: From the Props tab, select Themes → + New theme.

Web: From the dashboard, go to Props → New Theme.

Give the theme a name ("Luau ABC", "Black Tie", "Neon Nights") and add a style tag that describes it in one or two words. Add notes for anything your crew should know about executing the look — setup tips, staging notes, client preferences.

Linking a kit

Each theme links to one kit. Once linked, the kit appears on the theme detail — your crew sees the physical props associated with the look in one place.

Themes can be filtered by whether they have a linked kit or not, so you can quickly spot themes that still need a physical prop set assigned.

Bootheo Intelligence

On any theme detail page, Bootheo Intelligence generates a curated list of suggestions tailored to that theme's style. Props are the first category — each suggestion includes a name, a brief description of why it works for the theme, and a direct Shop on Amazon link.

Use Intelligence suggestions to discover props you might not have considered, shop to fill gaps in your inventory, or plan what to add before a new event type. Future updates will expand suggestions beyond props to include music, décor, activities, and other ideas to help you build a complete experience around any theme.

Bootheo Intelligence is available to admins and owners only.

Note: Amazon links include an affiliate tag as required by Amazon's Associates program.
