Managing Kits

Updated 22 Jun 20261 min read

A kit represents a physical collection of props — a case or bag your crew loads and brings to an event. Kits are managed from both the mobile app and the web dashboard.

Creating a kit

Mobile: From the Props tab, select Kits → + New kit.

Web: From the dashboard, go to Props → New Kit.

Give the kit a name that matches how you label it physically — "Luau Kit", "Corporate Kit A", "Holidays 2026".

The Default kit

One kit can be marked as your Default. The default kit is used as the fallback when a theme is assigned to a session but no specific kit has been selected. Mark a kit as default from its edit screen.

Linking a theme

Each kit can be linked to one theme. Once linked, the theme name appears on the kit detail — connecting your physical props to the creative concept for the event.

Adding items to a kit

Items are added to a kit from the kit detail screen. Select items from your catalog to include them. The kit detail shows total item count and total pieces at a glance.

The QR label

From the web dashboard, open a kit and select Print QR label. This generates a 4×6 PDF you can print and attach to the kit case. Scanning the QR code with a phone opens the kit detail directly in the Bootheo mobile app — no searching, no typing.

QR label printing is available on the web dashboard only.
