Managing Items

Items are the individual props in your catalog — every physical piece you own that can be assigned to a kit. Items are managed from both the mobile app and the web dashboard.

Adding an item

Mobile: From the Props tab, select Items → + New item.

Web: From the dashboard, go to Props → New Item.

Item fields

Name — what the item is. Be specific enough that any crew member knows what to grab. ("Gold selfie frame", not just "frame".)

Type — the category of prop. Choose from: Hat, Sign, Accessory, Frame, Wearable, or Other. Used to organize your catalog and group items on the kit detail screen.

Quantity owned — how many of this item you have. Bootheo uses this to track availability across events.

Photo — add a reference photo so crew can identify the item without guessing. Tap or click the photo area to capture or upload.

Notes — storage location, condition notes, anything relevant to the item's use or handling.

Editing and deleting

Open the item from your catalog and select Edit to update any field. Select Delete item to remove it permanently. Deleting an item removes it from any kit it's currently assigned to.
