Props Overview

Updated 22 Jun 20261 min read

Props in Bootheo is your inventory system for the physical items your crew brings to events — the signs, frames, accessories, and themed decorations that make a booth experience. Everything is organized around three concepts that work together.

Kits are physical containers — a case, a bag, a bin. A kit is what your crew picks up and loads into the vehicle. It has a name, a list of items inside it, and a QR label you can print from the web dashboard and attach to the case for instant mobile lookup.

Items are the individual props inside a kit — a gold selfie frame, a feather boa, a chalkboard sign. Each item has a type, a quantity owned, a photo, and notes. Items live in your catalog and get assigned to kits.

Themes are the creative concept for a specific event or client — Luau, Gatsby, Winter Wonderland. A theme links to a kit so your crew knows exactly which physical props to pull for that look. Bootheo Intelligence can suggest additional props to complete a theme, with direct Amazon links.

How they relate

A Theme links to a Kit. A Kit contains Items. When you assign a theme to an event session, your crew knows which kit to grab and what's inside it.

Where to find Props

  • Mobile: Props tab in the bottom navigation
  • Web: Props in the dashboard sidebar

Both surfaces give access to Kits, Items, and Themes. QR label printing is available on the web dashboard only.
